V3P has officially concluded its highly successful Summer-long food and hygiene drive, with South Pointe Middle School of Phoenix, AZ.  After reaching out to many local companies and religious organizations, between the months of May and August, we amassed thousands of dollars’ worth of food and hygiene products and managed to consistently provide assistance for about 30 needy families.  Although the drive presented some small challenges, we were able to persevere through and finish strongly! Wanting to continue our consistent efforts to support our community, we at V3P decided to approach the administrators at South Pointe Middle School.  After speaking [...]

Four African-American Teenagers Avoid Trouble and Earn Jobs

By | August 2nd, 2016|Motivation|

Four African-American teenagers have exemplified the true meaning of saying no to peer-pressure.  After being approached by local gang members and presented with an opportunity to become members of the gang, the teens made a definitive move to refuse the cancerous offer; instead, they went looking for employment. Their job hunt led them to the office of The LaGrange Housing Authority CEO, Zsa Zsa Heard.  After being thoroughly questioned by Heard, to see if they were the right young men for the company, she asked the teens the proverbial question that all working individuals have heard before, “Why do you [...]

V3P and St. Mary’s Team Up to Feed Our Community

By | July 16th, 2016|Service|

We, at V3P, recently had the opportunity to partner with St. Mary’s Food Bank of Arizona in hosting a local food drive. Through our service, we helped box up over 16,320 meals to help feed many starving adults and children. We had a strong turnout and it was great to see our community come together to help families in need. According to the National Center for Children in Poverty, 51% of children who reside in Arizona, are considered to live in low-income homes; we can only imagine how difficult it may be to feed a family, while trying to keep [...]
