Dr. Vincent Anderson founded V3P (2014) with the intention of assisting African American youth in the areas of education and mental health, and the mission has now expanded to the multi-faceted task of developing the African American population into a national community. A native of East St. Louis, Illinois, he recalls being an African American child who struggled with finding his purpose in this world. After an entire childhood of believing he could only become successful through the channels of sports and entertainment, Dr. Anderson found his time spent playing football as an undergraduate college student to be nothing short of life-changing. Now equipped with the confidence to take on additional challenges in higher education, Dr. Anderson went on to earn both his Masters of Sociology and Doctorate of Community Resources and Development from Arizona State University. As a trained social researcher/scientist with an invaluable skillset, Dr. Anderson has developed several programs designed to galvanize more African American youth to believe in and pursue the power of education. Dr. Anderson believes education to be the panacea to many of the issues facing the African American population, and he is committed to doing his part in helping to remedy as many issues as possible. Dr. Anderson resides in the community of Phoenix, Arizona.
