Our Vision.
Our vision is to become the most trusted and reputable organization advocating for and serving Black Americans and other marginalized communities. By earning the trust of those we serve, we aim to inspire Black American children to believe in their intellectual potential and achieve academic excellence. We will provide a wide range of social and family services to support adults in underserved communities with their daily needs. Ultimately, our mission is to help foster unity and growth, transforming the Black American population into a thriving national community.
Creating a Community of Positive Influence
In a society where American media disproportionately portrays Black Americans in a negative light, it is crucial to prioritize and protect the psychological well-being of Black American youth. There is a genuine and urgent need for consistent positive influences to be created and showcased within their communities across the nation, beginning in the Greater East St. Louis/St. Louis Metropolitan area. Achieving this goal requires placing Black American youth in nurturing, supportive learning environments that encourage self-discovery and foster a sense of self-worth. Such efforts will ultimately empower them to develop a stronger, more positive self-image.
